Carrot & ginger porridge

Porridge is one of our favourite meal and we eat one bowl almost every day. Instead of making a traditional dinner, you can cook a big pot of porridge for the whole family. It's nutritious, cheap, filling and you can vary with different flavors and toppings.

Lower cholesterol levels
Improve blood suger control
Weight loss and beautiful skin

Serves 1
1/2 cup (1 dl) steel cut oats
1/2 cup (1 dl) oat flakes
1 cup (2 dl) plant-based milk
2 cups (4 dl) water
Pinch of salt

Boil for 15-20 minutes.

Topping
1 small grated carrot
1/2 pickled ginger and some syrup

Mix it together and add on top of the porridge together with orange, whipped oat milk, cinnamon and cardamom.
